Spider man

Peter Parker is a science-whiz orphan living with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. He is bitten by a radioactive spider at a science exhibit and acquires the ability to cling to walls, superhuman strength, a sixth sense ("spider-sense") that alerts him to danger, perfect balance and equilibrium, as well as superhuman speed and agility. Through his native knack for science, he develops a gadget that lets him fire adhesive webbing of his own design through small, wrist-mounted barrels. Initially seeking to capitalize on his new abilities, Parker dons a costume and, as "Spider-Man", becomes a novelty television star.

Family

Richard Parker

Richard Parker was a decorated soldier of the United States Army Special Forces and was recruited by Nick Fury to the C.I.A. He left Peter in the care of Richard's older brother, Ben, and his wife, May, when Richard and Mary were away on missions. While on a mission to investigate the third Red Skull, he posed as traitor and double agent to infiltrate his criminal organization in Algeria, ultimately being discovered. Malik had an assassin, the Finisher, kill him by sabotaging his airplane and causing it to crash.

Ben Parker

Ben trained to be a military police officer. When Ben's younger brother Richard Parker and his wife Mary were killed in a plane crash, Ben and May took in their orphaned son Peter and raised him as their own.

May Parker

After the death of May Parker brother-in-law and his wife, May and her husband Ben Parker took in their only son, Peter, and raised him at their home. She remained an important influence in Peter's life even after he went to college because she was the only family he had left. Her continued belief that Peter was still the fragile boy he'd been before he gained his powers could be frustrating at times.
